Artist Carlo Marcucci is participating with two “Wheatfields” sculptures in the group exhibition “Feast Your Eyes” held at Root Division in San Francisco. The exhibit (which also feature the works of Alvaro Azcarraga, Jamie Bernstein, Flavia D'Urso, Margaret Dorfman, Carmina Eliason, Alyssa Eustaquio, Alex Hamilton, Francesca Mateo, Kai Nealis, Mel Nothern, Laura Sanford and Ruth Tabancay) presents works that incorporate food as the core material to their process or as a key subject matter - ranging from video, photography, installation, performance, two-dimensional work, sculpture and more.
Curated by Carolyn Tillie, this exhibition will be accompanied by the release of her upcoming book, “Feast Your Eyes: Edible Art from Apples to Zucchini” and will be presented in conjunction with Root Division’s annual spring fundraiser, TASTE on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
Feast Your Eyes is free, open to the public, and includes a Creative Station - an all ages art activity hosted in our classroom during the 2nd Saturday opening reception on Saturday, April 13, 2019, 7 - 9pm.
